The county’s economic base is agriculture, State correctional facility, school district, local government and small retail.Job DescriptionResponsible for providing holistic patient care according to individualized Nursing Care Plans for each assigned patient. Employee is required to provide care for and record the care given to patients at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Participate and work cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other departments to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the hospital setting. Supervises supportive personnel (PCT, CNA, PCA) assigned directly to medical floor to assist with patient care. Qualifications1. Graduate of a state approved school of nursing2. Current Florida licensure as LPN 3. CPR certification4. Participation in continuing education programs as required by the State of Florida. 5. ACLS and PALS preferred/optional6.
